Tokyo Through My Lens
Exploring Tokyo alone gave me a rare chance to experience the city as both storyteller and subject, filming myself as I navigated neon alleys, quiet temples, and crowded crossings. With no crew behind me, my camera became my companion, forcing me to frame every shot with intention—from setting up compositions on bustling streets to capturing still moments where the city slowed down. Every angle, every scene, and every step was guided by instinct and improvisation. Coming home, I pieced the footage together into a short film that not only showcased Tokyo’s personality, but also reflected my own growth as a creator—learning to trust my eye, document my journey, and communicate emotion through images I captured alone.
