Leveling Up for the Dallas Public Library TLA 2025
For the Dallas Public Library, I produced a video to showcase at the 2025 Texas Library Association Conference, hosted right here in Dallas. Using their previous year’s video as a reference, I set out to elevate the quality with my current skills in filming and editing—delivering a sharper, more polished result. I didn’t need an editor for this project, but I did bring on an assistant to serve as my gaffer, helping with lighting, interview setup, and location scouting to ensure everything was shot in the best possible setting. To streamline production, I pulled from my library of footage from past shoots, while also personalizing the project with fresh shots tailored for this story. The experience allowed me to apply new techniques I’ve honed while working alongside highly skilled colleagues, and the result was a video that not only met expectations, but surpassed the original.
