Picnic in 3D: A Vibrant Blend of Reality and Render​​​​​​​
In this project, I placed both myself and a friend into a fully animated 3D environment using Blender and After Effects, creating a vibrant picnic scene that blended live-action with digital design. I filmed us on a green screen, then built and animated the 3D world in Blender, adding dynamic elements that allowed me to interact with the environment—like bringing food into the scene in real time. The animation responded to our presence, enhancing the sense of immersion and storytelling. Compositing in After Effects helped blend everything seamlessly, and throughout the process, I refined my workflow and learned how to render more efficiently without sacrificing visual quality. This project was a key step in leveling up my ability to create believable, interactive digital realities.
