Sunlit Moments with DFW Blerds: Capturing Community and Joy
In April 2023, I attended the annual DFW Blerds cookout at a park in Irving, Texas, capturing the event with my Sony A6400 and ND filter. Embracing the natural light, I positioned and posed attendees to highlight their energy and personality, using the power of the sun to create dynamic and well-lit portraits. The park’s trees and pagoda served as scenic backdrops, adding depth and texture to the shots while complementing the vibrant atmosphere of the gathering. Through thoughtful composition and lighting, I aimed to document the joy and camaraderie of the community.
