Framing Resilience: Cinematic Highlights of Deep Ellum’s Business Buzz Amid Construction
Working as a Cinematographer on this Deep Ellum Project, was an exciting challenge, as I aimed to showcase the vibrant local businesses while highlighting the city's efforts to mitigate issues from ongoing street construction. My team and I used a Sony FX9 cinema camera, paired with a 21mm cinema lens, mounted on a Manfrotto tripod, and we utilized a scrim for lighting control to ensure both the businesses and construction work were well-lit and visually appealing. The goal was to make everything and everyone look professional and presentable, emphasizing that these businesses remained open and accessible despite the construction challenges
