Roots in Franklin
During a recent visit to Franklin, Texas, I spent time photographing my grandparents' homestead, capturing the textures, structures, and quiet atmosphere of the land they built their life on. These photos serve not only as a personal tribute but also as early visual development for a future short film I plan to shoot on location. I focused on natural lighting, thoughtful composition, and storytelling through still frames—each shot designed to reflect the tone, memory, and emotional depth I aim to bring to the screen. This process helped me connect more deeply with the story I want to tell and the roots it grows from.
